A Message from the Director

Ms. Dinky Sharma

As a Counseling Psychologist with over 5 years of experience, I have always believed that the foundation of a fulfilling career in psychology lies in both knowledge and practice. However, my journey was not without challenges. Like many aspiring psychologists, I struggled to find clear guidance on how to begin—where to start, what to focus on, and how to gain the essential practical experience that’s so vital in this field. Unfortunately, these aspects are rarely taught in schools or universities, leaving many of us to figure it out on our own.

Starting my career from scratch, I took multiple internships and mentorships from renowned psychologists to build my knowledge and gain the experience I needed. Through years of dedicated learning, I developed my passion for helping students like you—those who aspire to become practicing psychologists but need the right foundation, guidance, and opportunities to succeed.

I strongly believe that early identification, intervention, and skill development are the keys to building a psychologically healthy society. By offering mentorship and specialized training, I am working towards creating a future where aspiring psychologists can confidently step into their careers as independent practitioners, well-equipped to contribute to the mental wellness of our communities.

This program reflects my personal mission to bridge the gap between knowledge and practice, helping students like you take the first steps toward becoming competent, compassionate mental health professionals who can make a meaningful impact.
